[8] The question as posed cannot be answered as there is no lake that satisfies both parts of the question. The first part presumably was intended to be "the largest freshwater lake in South America". Some QMs caught this and either omitted the first part of the question or told the quizzees to ignore that part. In some games the error was not spotted, and, in three, "Lake Superior" was protested; those protests have been accepted and points awarded.
