The mapping of human genes is part of the Human Genome Project. We were looking for the genome project. Hair splitting, eh?

Calgene developed tomatoes for commercial sale and marketed it in 1994. Canola is a form of rapeseed and was developed originally by traditional breeding techniques. It was modified later but it wasn't the first to be sold as "food".

Yes, there is reclaimed land but what is anomlous about the Zuider Zee is that it is now composed of fresh water rather than ocean brine.

Could not find any reference to flyer's but did find flies. We'll accept flies for 1 point.
