- John of the Cellar Rats protested "adding machine" for 1pt. Protest GRANTED.
- Round 2:Q6
- Rodney of the Usual Suspects protested "neoprene" for 1pt. Protest DENIED. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber. Although it involves polymerization, it is not the same as polyethylene.
- Round 3:Q1
- Kerry of Frayed Naughts protested "Red Wine" for 2pts. Protest DENIED. The round asked for ingredients of the garnishes. Red wine, like salt, would not be a garnish because you can t see it.

- Rick of On a Roll protested "Truffles" for 1 pt. Although truffles may be present in perigourdine, foie gras is essential in order to be called this. If only truffles wre used it would be called perigueux. Protest DENIED.

- Gord of Footloose and Firkin Free protested "Lake Baikal" for 2pts. Protest DENIED.
David of Forza Azzurri protested "Caspian Sea" for 1pt. Protest DENIED.
Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world and the largest by volume. It is not the largest by surface area which is what we were looking for. The Caspian Sea is not within one country.The Cellar Rats re-protested a question from week 2.
