- Round 1:Q7
- Rod of Frayed Naughts, 15th Nov. (earliest possible no confidence vote), for 2 pts.
Tony of Cellar Rats, Nov. 17th for 2pts, Nov. 16th for 1pt.
Susan of All Over Twisted. Nov. 15 for 1pt. Protests ACCEPTED.
- Round 2:Q4
- Jim of Unnatural Axxe, Biosphere (across from Olympic Stadium), for 1 pt. The Biosphere is on Ile Sainte-Helene. Olympic Stadium is on the main island. Protest DENIED.
Rodney of Usual Suspects, Velodrome for 2 pts. The Biodome was built from the old Velodrome and named the Biodome. Hmmm, the Velodrome is no longer across the street from Olympic Stadium, but 25-30 years ago it was. That's like saying Simpsons is across the street from the Eaton Centre even though now it's The Bay (only looser than that comparison). My feeling is that it hasn't been the Velodrome in many years and protest denied but if there's a trivia league precedent accepting this I'm willing to go along with it. Protest DENIED.
Marjorie of M.I.5., Biodome, for 1pt. The Biodome is indeed across the street from Olympic Stadium. At a different intersection. That is one busy area! My bad. Protest ACCEPTED.
- Round 2:Q6
- Lisa of Reach for the Tap, St. Catherines (Montreal Forum street), for 2pts. The setter misinterpreted MS Mappoint (or, more likely the software was wrong) Protest ACCEPTED.
- Round 2:Q5
- Bob of All Over Twisted, St. Helen's Island (for Ile Notre Dame) for ?pts. Ile Saint-Helene is the island next to Ile Notre-Dame and while connected by bridges doesn't actually have the F1 circuit on it. Protest DENIED.
- Round 2:Q7
- Susan of All Over Twisted, Laval sur ls Lac, for 1 pt. Laval-Sur-Le-Lac was a village on the island of Laval (at the time called Ile Jesus) founded around 1915. The whole of the island was never actually called that. Protest DENIED.
- Round 3:Q9
- Diana of Five of What, Viper, for 2pts. Protest ACCEPTED.
- Round 9:Q10
