Question 4: "Which rodeo event requires a lasso?" - expected answer "calf roping" (we would have accepted "goat roping" or "team roping"). * Tom of Azzurri protested "steer roping" for 1.
Although we haven't heard this event called "steer roping", we'll consider this close enough.
Protest accepted.
Question 5: "What is the only event in which partners are permitted?" - expected answer "team roping". * Ryan of 5 of 9 protested "steer roping" for 2.
"Team steer roping" is not a standard rodeo event, but we didn't articulate this requirement at the beginning of the round, and http://www.bentonrodeo.com/rhist.shtml and http://www.crookedcreekhorsepark-faha.com/rodeofacts.htm indicate that it is an event at some rodeos (and it does involve more than one person).
Protest accepted (on reconsideration).
* Dale of Cellar Rats protested "bulldogging" for 2 and "steer wrestling" for 1. These are, of course, the same event, so the 1-point protest is moot. He says it requires two people.
According to http://www.codystampederodeo.org/steer%20wrestling.htm there is a participant called a "hazer" who assists the bulldogger. Confirmed by a bunch of other pages found by googling on hazer and "steer wrestling", some of which use the word "partner".
Protest accepted (on reconsideration).
* Greg of MI5 protested "chuckwagon racing" for 1.
Like "team steer roping", chuckwagon racing is not a standard rodeo event, but it does appear in some rodeos and involves more than one person.
Protest accepted.
Question 1, asking how Rhea saved Zeus from being eaten by his father Kronos; expected answer "she fed him a stone instead". * Chris of Frayed Naughts protested "she hid him in a cave" for 1.
Each of these sources below gives some variation on the story, indicating that Rhea hid Zeus in a cave, and then fed Kronos a stone. Somewhat later (immediately, or after several years!), Kronos disgorged other children (siblings to Zeus) whom he had previously eaten whole. Clearly the nub of the stratagem was feeding Kronos a stone to fool him, but hiding Zeus also seems to be an integral, though less interesting, part of the process.

Protest accepted.
Question 9: "Zeus and Hera argued over an important point that could only be resolved by Tiresias, a prophet who had lived as both a man and a woman. What point were they arguing over?" - expected answer, "Who enjoys sex more - a man or a woman?" (and for those who missed the game and are curious, the answer to the answer was "a woman, ten times as much"). * Doug of MI5, for 2 points, protested "Who has the harder life - a man or a woman?"; Doug explains that the sex question was just part of this broader argument.
The sources listed below, and many more, obtained with a google search of "tiresias zeus hera man woman sex" confirm our answer. A google search of "tiresias zeus hera man woman -sex" (return documents that do not contain "sex") does not return any documents that support the protested answer. Of course we didn't check all documents returned, but a selection from the first 40 or 50, plus the summaries. We deny the protest, but will reconsider if a conflicting (and reliable) source is provided.
